E ghè pü temp che vitta was born as the result of a trek. There are many places, faces, ideas, looks and landcapes that entered in it. Peolples and works that are near and far away, both in time and in space: languages of memory, eyes that have passed around. The first public performances in Mexico, the rehearsals in Frassinoro, the recording between Romagna and Frankfurt, the journey to the Faroer Islands and the concerts there... Far away universes that are tied together in a shaping expedition, in a spread and close geography. Inside this journey, in the depth of places, at the clocking of the little boat where we have sailed during the last year, one can see the peoples who have welcomed us, sheltered us and restored us before new departures. Peoples who have been in these inlets know that we have brought with us many things, and will recognize themselves present in this work. We have simply raised and picked up, healed and make these things grown.
E ghè pü temp che vitta tells about life, from birth to death, from the first to the last breath, from the bed where we open our existence to the one where we loose it. Between these two stations lies our journey, that we have tried to report and narrate with grace and attention, with happiness and reverence. This Cd is dedicated to all those who, today or in the past, in our houses or in the other side of the world, have offered us something of themselves, allowing us to compose this musical tale, and to bend in distinctive ways the paper where we have written this episode of our lives.
